1 pound toasted hazelnuts
1 or 2 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons cocoa
coconut oil (depends on runny or thick you like the spread to be)
Roast hazelnuts in the oven until the skin cracks, than you know it’s ready. Taste it! Let it cool off overnight is the best! Than you take two bowls one for clean hazelnuts one for hazelnuts skin and separate your hazelnuts from skin. Don’t worry if not every nut is pealing off the skin!. Do it as much as you can. It prevents the nuts to be bitter in future. Than put in your grinder and grind it until it clumps up like a cookie dough. Than add your honey, cacao, and about coconut oil make sure you put one tablespoon at a time and try it. If you like it more liquid than add another spoon of coconut oil. When it’s ready, you can put in the jar! It’s great for breakfast with Greek yogurt and berries!
