banana fudge brownies

Craving something sweet? Make banana fudge brownies.

2 eggs

2 tablespoons honey

1/4 cup  olive oil or butter

1 cup almond flour 1/4 cup cocoa powder

3 mashed bananas (best if they are slightly to moderately over-ripe to lend sweetness)

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix eggs, vanilla and oil or butter in bowl, slowly add almond flour and cocoa powder and blend till frothy. In a separate bowl, mash bananas until totally smooth and frothy, blend into cocoa mixture. Line brownie pan with parchment/cooking paper.

These are really sticky brownies so this is important. Pour brownie mixture and spread evenly. Cook for a full hour. A toothpick inserted at the end of an hour will probably not come out clean.

If you refrigerate the brownies overnight, you should be able to cut them into squares in the morning. You’ll still get chocolate on your face when you eat them, though, and that’s kind of all right.

  1. I just made these and they’re pretty frickin awesome for having no sugar in them 🙂 I used coconut oil and 2 big banans instead of 3. However, I only baked them for 30 minutes because they looked done… They’re a little underdone, that’s my fault, I didn’t follow directions like a retard:( But they’re still good! But not really gooey or chewy, that makes me a little sad.
