Bacon and Cabbage

Wow! I’m so satisfied the way this dish came out. So juicy and full of flavors cabbage with bacon. You will definitively enjoy this as much as I did.

1 pack of uncured bacon (or any other meat)
1 head cabbage, thinly sliced
3-5 tablespoons of broth or water
5 tablespoons bacon fat, olive oil, or ghee (I prefer bacon fat)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Grease the bottom and halfway up the sides of a ovenproof casserole with some of the fat. Add the cabbage, water or broth. Place the bacon (that been cooked already) on top of the cabbage. Dot the cabbage in a few places with some more fat, then cover with a lid or foil and place in the oven for approximately 1 hour, removing the cover in the last 10 minutes so it will brown a little on top.
